Bowie & Jensen, a Leading Business Law Firm, Will Host its Next Educational Seminar on Trademark and Copyright Basics For Every Business on October 12, 2012
TOWSON, Md., Sept. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bowie & Jensen, a leading business law firm, will hold its next monthly educational seminar on trademark and copyright basics for every business on October 12, 2012 at 7:30 am at Bowie & Jensen, located on the 6th Floor of the Susquehanna Building at the corner of E. Susquehanna & Washington Aves. Attorneys Kim Grimsley and Pamela Riewerts will talk about trademark and copyright basics for every business.
Many businesses do not realize that they have intellectual property rights that are valuable to their business, such as trademarks and copyrights. In addition, many businesses may think they own intellectual property rights in a work that they paid a third party to develop (which often is not the case). Kim and Pamela will discuss what trademarks and copyrights are, and why business owners and entrepreneurs should be concerned about identifying and protecting trademarks and copyrighted material. They will also discuss basic steps to take in protecting these rights.
Bowie & Jensen's seminar is free and open to any business owner. Space is limited so participants must register in advance.
Registration is easy. Email with your name, your company's name, address, phone number, and email address. You will receive an email confirmation the next business day. Please register early to ensure your spot. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Siri at [email protected] or by phone 410.583.2400.
