BrassCraft Manufacturing Company Expands its Push Connect Technology Line
NOVI, Mich., July 31, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- BrassCraft Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of premium quality plumbing supplies for over 65 years, has once again pushed the boundaries of innovation by adding two new water stops to its fast, reliable and durable push connect technology family of products.
Complementing its original push connect water stop, BrassCraft Manufacturing is expanding its push connect technology line to include a newly designed more compact push connect stop. Also available this August, push connect x push connect, a versatile, convenient water stop featuring push connect technology not only on the inlet side of the stop but on the outlet side as well. This allows ease of installation for the tubing on the inlet side and the water connector on the outlet side.
All three watertight options are designed, machined and assembled in the USA, available in both straight and angle configurations, and in compliance with the new federal no-lead legislation effective January 4, 2014. The advantage of the push connect technology is that no tools are required for installation and can be installed on three types of tubing. The result is an "installation ready" water stop that's compatible with copper, PEX and CPVC, 100% leak tested and IAPMO and CSA certified. An enhanced benefit of BrassCraft® technology is the pre-inserted tube stiffener that self-aligns with the tubing.
"BrassCraft Manufacturing's push connect technology reflects our continued commitment to quality and innovation, as well as our determination to provide superior products to plumbers everywhere," said Jim Pletcher , BrassCraft Manufacturing Vice President of Wholesale Sales. "Additionally, the Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act, which takes effect in approximately 18 months, has been fully embraced by BrassCraft Manufacturing and our no-lead compliant line of push connect technology water stops is a perfect example of our goal to help plumbers and wholesalers make a smooth transition to the new law."
With facilities in Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, California and Texas, BrassCraft Manufacturing continues to invest in the most advanced design and manufacturing technologies for the creation of thousands of high-value products. These include a wide range of no-lead compliant connectors, fittings, water stops and valves that meet provisions of the Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act. In anticipation of this legislation, BrassCraft Manufacturing recommends that customers transition to a compliant-product inventory now and secure an important competitive advantage. BrassCraft Manufacturing packaging displays a checkmark to designate 100% compliance.
