Brazilian Utility SANEPAR Expands Water Meter Order With Elster -- Deployment of additional 105,000 water meters for improved water management --
LUTON, England and SAO PAULO, Feb. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Elster announced today that Brazilian utility, Companhia de Saneamento do Parana (SANEPAR), has selected Elster to supply more than 105,000 single-jet water meters in Brazil over the next three months.
This follows SANEPAR's selection of Elster in January 2012 to supply 52,000 water meters to accurately bill customers for water usage and identify leaks within the distribution system.

SANEPAR, located in Curitiba city in the State of Parana, has more than three million water meters installed. The new S120 single-jet water meters will provide accurate measurement of water consumption across its residential customer base.
