IRVING, Texas, Dec. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Breitling Oil and Gas, an independent oil and gas company based in Irving, Texas, today announced that the company has become the title sponsor of 1080 KRLD's 34th Annual Christmas is for Caring event. The yearly event raises donations and awareness to assist the residents of the Denton State Supported Living Center in North Texas.

CIFC benefits the residents of the Denton State Supported Living Center. These are adults with developmental disabilities. In many cases they are profoundly affected by their disabilities, meaning they cannot function without a great deal of assistance and are not able to walk or talk. Our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase at least two gifts for each resident of the school. KRLD also will be collecting monetary donations used to complete a specific improvement project at the school. This year's major projects will be helping purchase medical equipment to help better serve the residents, including new hospital beds and x-ray equipment.
