-The Chinese operators are embarking on three different migration paths to LTE: one from 3G/GSM (W-CDMA) with China Unicom; another from 3G/CDMA (EV-DO) with China Telecom; and lastly, 3G TD-SCDMA with China Mobile.
-BRICs are hotly contested by various Network Equipment Vendors (NEVs), with Ericsson and Huawei leading, followed by ALU, NSN, and ZTE, among others.
