Bridal Designer to Launch LAVAN Haute Couture Collection in Woodmere, NY

WOODMERE, N.Y., July 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- New York-based designer Faina Busso has opened a salon for LAVAN, her collection of haute couture bridal and evening wear. The salon will feature one-of-a-kind pieces designed by Ms. Busso, and host trunk shows featuring the designs of fashion's most sought-after couturiers. Maggie Norris , based in Manhattan, will be the first of the boutique's "designers-in-residence." Her affinity for exquisite detail perfectly complements LAVAN for the upcoming collaboration.

Faina has over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, with an expertise in bridal fashions. Since graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Faina has worked as a seamstress, pattern maker, and illustrator, all of which have informed her sensibility as a dress designer. In addition to gowns, she also designs her own accessories and beadings.
