Bridge Street Development Corporation and Ocwen Financial Corporation Partner to Discuss Ways for Homeowners to Avoid Foreclosure
NEW YORK, March 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridge Street Development Corporation announced today it invited more than 1,600 homeowners to meet with specialists to discuss potential options available to help borrowers stay in their homes. The event, hosted by Bridge Street Development Corporation and sponsored by Ocwen Financial Corporation (Ocwen), is being held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET at Marjorie Richardson Court, 359 Hendricks Street in Brooklyn, New York.
This free event will bring together borrowers, certified U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) counselors, and Ocwen Home Retention Agents to discuss ways to avoid foreclosure in order for struggling borrowers and families to remain in their homes.

Ocwen services about 47,000 active loans in the New York City metropolitan area, including about 11,500 loans in Brooklyn. Of those loans, Ocwen has completed more than 8,800 modifications since 2012. Ocwen has completed more than 2,200 modifications in Brooklyn. Nationwide, Ocwen has completed more than 500,000 loan modifications.
