(NYSE: BRX) ("Brixmor" or the "Company") announced today that it has named Barry Lefkowitz, former Chief Financial Officer of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, a NYSE-listed real estate investment trust, as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
Mr. Barry Lefkowitz is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Huntington Road Advisors LLC, a real estate investment and advisory firm. Mr. Lefkowitz previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation from 1996 to 2014. During his tenure as Chief Financial Officer he was responsible for overseeing the company's investor relations activities as well as their strategic financial planning and forecasting, financial accounting and reporting, and capital markets activities. Additionally, Mr. Lefkowitz led the company's property management and asset management operations beginning in 2004. Mr. Lefkowitz served as a Vice President at Mack-Cali Realty Corporation from 1994 to 1997. Prior to joining Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, he served as a Senior Manager at Deloitte LLP, specializing in real estate. Mr. Lefkowitz is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
