"Don't Scratch to Win" Program To Kickoff October 15

GREER, S.C., Oct. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Buffets, Inc. portfolio of brands – Ryan's®, HomeTown® Buffet, Fire Mountain®, Granny's Buffet(SM), Country Buffet® and Old Country Buffet® – will be launching a scratch and win promotion with a twist: guests must come back at a later date to have their card scratched and prize revealed. It's all part of the "Don't Scratch to Win" Promotion that kicks off with card distribution October 15-28 (while supplies last) and has redemption during the dinner hours October 29 through November 21, 2012. Nearly three million scratch and win cards will be distributed and every card reveals a prize or dinner discount. The grand prize is a $ 5000.00 "design your dream vacation."

No Peeking!

In order to have their card revealed, guests must bring their "Don't Scratch to Win" cards to their local Ryan's, HomeTown Buffet, Fire Mountain, Granny's, Country Buffet or Old Country Buffet with the scratch off area intact. The cashier scratches off the card for the guest to reveal a prize or dinner discount. In addition to the grand prize there are five $500 American Express® Gift Cards, ten $200 American Express gift cards, five $100 American Express Gift cards and 1000 $10 Buffets, Inc. gift cards, good at any Buffets, Inc. buffet restaurant. All other cards offer the guests a discount on their dinner that night – from $1 off to a free dinner with beverage purchase.

Rules:

No purchase is required. Winners must be age 18 and older and gift card winners will be required to complete a redemption form with proof of residency. Complete contest rules and details can be found in any participating restaurant starting October 15. Void where prohibited.
