GREER, S.C., June 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Buffets, Inc.® is giving military families a special place at the table with the launch of its new Military Appreciation Program starting July 5. All six Buffets brands – Ryan's®, Country Buffet®, HomeTown® Buffet, Old Country Buffet®, Fire Mountain® and Granny's Buffet(SM) – are extending a special 15 percent discount to active and reserve military service personnel, their spouses and children (up to a party of four) who dine at any of their locations. The offer is good year-round, plus soldiers will receive a 100 percent discount on their birthday.

BUFFETS TO SUPPORT MILITARY YEAR-ROUND
Buffets also announced a new partnership with the Armed Services YMCA® (ASYMCA), a national non-profit organization that provides programs and services for military personnel and their families. Buffets has committed to support the ASYMCA and its national and local initiatives with financial and in-kind contributions throughout the year.

Proceeds from the CDs will be donated to the ASYMCA for Operation Outdoors, a camp program that assists the children of military personnel and families during deployment.
