As a Member of NetAmerica, BIT not only has access to the shared expertise of all other Alliance Members (deploying commercial networks in Texas, Oklahoma, California, Arizona, and New Mexico) but also to the 4G LTE core hosting, infrastructure, operational tools, personnel, and marketing programs which the Alliance provides to its Members.
"Being a rural service provider with deep commitment to the communities we serve demanded we find a partner with the same commitment and values," said Michele Taylor, Wireless Operations Manager at BIT Communications. "After a robust Request for Proposal process, we found the holistic approach taken by the NetAmerica Alliance and their commitment to rural America to be a perfect fit. A key part of our decision was not only the experience they and their Members have in running commercial networks, but also the experience of being an Alliance Member and getting the help we need to succeed."
"It is with great pleasure that we welcome BIT Communications to the Alliance. It is our goal to ensure rural communities have the same access to leading edge communications services as those in urban areas and we are proud to serve BIT Communications in delivering on that promise to southern Virginia," said Roger Hutton, NetAmerica Chairman and CEO.
