CHICAGO, Jan. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Business Insurance announced today that it will be issuing a redesigned print issue on January 14, 2013. The redesigned magazine will also feature a new logo, an increased page count and will be released on a bi-weekly basis.
Business Insurance serves business executives who are responsible for the purchase and administration of corporate insurance/self-insurance programs, encompassing both property and liability insurance and employee benefit programs, including life, health and pensions. Coinciding with its 2013 redesign, Business Insurance also is launching a new interactive tablet edition of the publication, which will be available on the popular iPad tablets for the first redesigned issue, and soon thereafter for Android-based tablets.
As part of Business Insurance's increased commitment and focus on international business, the newly redesigned print magazine will feature an International section, with news from around the world. The magazine will also launch a new daily email newsletter, Global Focus, which will aggregate relevant risk management and commercial insurance news that matters from around the world.
"The redesign of Business Insurance is an important step in the evolution of the publication. The studies that we have done have shone a light on the fact that our readers' habits have changed over time, and we have taken the critical step of keeping up with, and even staying one step ahead, of trends in publishing in general," said Business Insurance Editor Gavin Souter.
"The news is delivered fast through the internet, and we have that capability well in hand with our web and mobile sites. The print publication provides an excellent forum for in-depth analysis and interviews that our readers need in the complex world we live and work within. The addition of the tablet format will allow our readers to access the Business Insurance content easily through all forms of media currently available to them. And we couldn't be more excited to be participating in this important media transition that's happening across the globe," he said.
