Byron Moore to Senior Director of Sales U.S.A.: Walter's Shoe Care Products

TORONTO, May 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Walter's Shoe Care Products, an industry leading manufacturer and marketer of premium quality shoe care and foot comfort products to retail, with world-wide distribution, announced today the appointment of Byron Moore to Senior Director of Sales U.S.A.: Walter's Shoe Care Products effective March 5, 2012.

In this role, Byron ("Moe") will be responsible for Business Development in the United States including; development and execution of strategic initiatives, top and bottom line revenue growth, customer and market development, expansion into all trade channels. He will join the senior management team of E.F. Walters and report directly to Nicola McLeod - General Manager: Walter's Shoe Care Products.

Byron provides over 30 years of consumer packaged goods experience, where he has held numerous managerial and leadership roles.  Byron spent 15 years leading the sales efforts for Sara Lee with oversight for various categories including Shoe Care for both Canada and the United States.

Recently Byron managed 50% of US Retail Operations for Sara Lee Food & Beverage; we feel his broad experience adds value to the organization. This team is poised to strengthen E.F. Walter's position for a time to come.

"Moe" is married to his wife Hope, they have three adult children, and they reside in the greater Chicago area. Both Byron and his wife enjoy an active life style.
