C Y Foundation Announces 2010/11 Interim Results
Turnover Surges 57 %
Further Improvement Expected After Full Launch of Rohan
HONG KONG, Nov. 29, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The leading interactive digital entertainment company, C Y Foundation Group Limited (SEHK: 1182; "C Y Foundation" or the "Group"), today was pleased to announce its 2010/11 interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2010 (the "Period"). During the Period, turnover amounted to HK$88 million representing an increase of 57% compared to the same period last year. Beta testing programmes and marketing campaigns have been rolled out for the Group's key revenue driver, Rohan. These are major steps toward the full launch of the game in the China market.
Mr. Theodore Cheng Chee Tock, Chairman of C Y Foundation said, "The Group was granted approval by both the Ministry of Culture and the General Administration of Press and Publications to operate Rohan. Revenue from the digital entertainment business will improve further after the product's grand launch."
Over the same financial reporting period, the C Y Foundation's packaging products and watch trading businesses have recorded impressive improvements in sales performance with sales increasing by 50% and 205% respectively. With solid businesses in Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia, as well as new initiatives in the PRC market, the Group's performance will continue to improve.
