California's Largest Business Advocacy Groups Joins Growing Coalition for More Competition and Lower Prices - - Announces Support for Prop 33

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles County Business Federation (BizFed) and the Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA), representing over 200,000 businesses in Southern California, announced their support for Proposition 33.  BizFed and VICA join a growing list of business organizations supporting more competition and lower insurance prices for consumers according to Vote Yes on Prop 33.

"Giving consumers the freedom to change insurance companies without losing their discount will increase competition among insurance companies, helping to lower rates for all of us and insure more drivers to make our roads safer," said Tracy Rafter, CEO of BizFed.  "Proposition 33 will bring California up to par with 48 other states."
