Call It Spring Debuts Its First Capsule Collection With Artist Mike Perry
The Call It Spring x Mike Perry collaboration launches March 1st worldwide.
NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Call It Spring is proud to announce the launch of its capsule collection created in partnership with Brooklyn artist and designer Mike Perry. This is the first collaboration of its kind for the young footwear and accessories brand, and a perfect combination of Perry's playful aesthetic and Call It Spring's youthful design.
The Call It Spring x Mike Perry collection features an exclusive and colorful print — titled Friends — on sunglasses, a backpack, a five-panel cap, an iPhone case and sneakers for him and her.
The shapes that make up the print came to Mike while he was sketching alone in a Tokyo diner. Feeling a bit homesick, he was inspired by his friends to create this unique print of colorful characters hanging out together. "My "Friends" print has always been special to me because of how it came about. I'm so glad it found a home," says Perry. "This is a really fun collaboration – I am able to channel my youth with a brand that loves creativity and sets no boundaries or restrictions."
