Cal's Angels Hosts 11th Annual Golf Outing Benefiting Pediatric Cancer

ST. CHARLES, Ill., May 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hit the greens for Cal's Angels' 11^th Annual Golf Outing on June 9^th. Between the golf, games, food and prizes, the event is sure to be a hole in one. While the games, food and prizes are appealing, the real reason to join for a round of golf is the opportunity to help a child affected by cancer. The proceeds will go towards granting wishes, raising awareness and funding research to assist kids fighting cancer.

Tickets for the event start at $225 for a single golfer and range up to a group of four with and without game wristbands. Game wristbands include activities such as Life-Size Jenga, Foot Darts, Ball Launchers, and the list goes on.

About Cal's Angels
In June of 2005, Cal Sutter, a 12-year old South Elgin Little League All-Star, was diagnosed with AML – Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. The battle with pediatric cancer is a horrible nightmare no child or family should ever have to experience. Yet, like most children, Cal never gave up hope and through it all, he was always more concerned about the well-being of the other children fighting cancer than he was about himself. Even though Cal ultimately lost his battle with leukemia in August of 2006, the courage he displayed throughout his treatment inspired the start of Cal's All-Star Angel Foundation, Inc.(Cal's Angels) – a 501(c)(3) pediatric cancer foundation with a mission of granting wishes, raising awareness and funding research to help kids fighting cancer.

From the many fundraising events that Cal's Angels organizes each year and the generous donations they receive, they are able to fund new treatments for Pediatric Cancer at Lurie Children's Hospital and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, provide comfort kits for family hospital stays, put on holiday programs and Hospital parties, hand out Christmas gifts, and grant wishes.
