Camali Clinic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), based in Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai and The Child and Family Practice, London, today announced a collaboration to bring world class health services to children and their families to the UAE and the surrounding region. As a result, Camali Clinic is holding a Meet the Experts Open Day at Camali clinic, Ibn Sina Building # 27, Block A, Unit 102B, Dubai Healthcare City, on Wednesday 25 November at 2pm to mark the collaboration with The Child and Family Practice (TCFP), London.
The Child and Family Practice (TCFP) will start offering its service in Dubai at Camali Clinic starting from 25th November 2015. TCFP is internationally recognised for its expertise in the psychological wellbeing and mental health of children, young people and adults. TCFP team includes leaders in the fields of paediatrics, psychiatry, psychology, psychotherapy and mediation for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. TCFP Team, in collaboration with Camali Clinic, will offer the same comprehensive range of high quality assessment, evaluation and interventions as they currently offer in their London practice. Services available to families, couples and young people will include individual, family and couples therapies, educational assessments, speech and language therapy and dietician input.
TCFP is a team of world class experts from the UK led by Paediatric Professor Ricky Richardson of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH). The Practice offers high-end multidisciplinary assessments for children who are exhibiting learning, behavioural or emotional difficulties and would benefit from an expert comprehensive assessment.
Camali Clinic is a consultant led child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) for young people between 0 and 18 years of age who are experiencing emotional, behavioural or learning difficulties. The clinic is the only consultant-led service in Dubai that works within a truly integrative multidisciplinary framework so as to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach to child and adolescent mental health care. Camali Clinic is also the member of The Quality Network for Community CAMHS (QNCC), an initiative of the Royal College of Psychiatrists London, Centre for Quality Improvement.
