Campari Canada Solidifies Commitment to Canadian Market with the Implementation of its own Distribution Network, Construction of a National Head Office in Toronto, and the Hiring of Seasoned Canadian Industry Professionals in Key Provincial Markets

TORONTO, May 27, 2015 /CNW/ - Campari Canada has announced a series of corporate initiatives and executive appointments as it continues its focus of growing its diverse portfolio of brands in Canada. Following the successful acquisition and integration of Forty Creek Distillery Ltd. in June 2014, Campari Canada continues to focus on the Canadian market with the launch of a new head office in Toronto and the addition of a roster of Canadian sales, marketing and distribution professionals to the Canadian operation.
The Grimsby, Ontario-based Forty Creek distillery will continue to serve as the bottling plant and warehouse for the popular Forty Creek brand with the addition of select Gruppo Campari brands. It will also continue operating its own on-premise retail store, tours and seminars. Now managing its own distribution efforts, the distillery will serve as a central office for Campari Canada for some of its production, HR and finance staff.
The Toronto office will be located in the Liberty Village neighbourhood and will house the company's sales, marketing and finance staff. The space, outfitted to encourage engagement amongst its growing workforce, was designed by Toronto-based firm I-V. Featuring striking communal spaces, a free-standing, full-sized bar and possessing the capabilities to transform into a functional event space, Campari Canada's presence in Toronto's core serves to bring the brand that much closer to the many consumers, partner accounts and brand ambassadors that have leveraged the group's portfolio across the national landscape.
Campari Canada has also recently appointed a group of senior leadership to steer the new organization in this country. Appointments include:
