Canaccord Genuity Expands Consumer Capabilities Into Retail, Apparel & Footwear With Addition To Investment Banking Team

NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - Canaccord Genuity Inc. is pleased to announce that Dominic Rispoli has joined Canaccord Genuity's Investment Banking team as Managing Director and Co-Head of US Consumer & Retail Investment Banking.

Mr. Rispoli will be based in New York and will join Rodney Clark, Co-Head of U.S. Consumer & Retail, who is based in San Francisco. Together they will expand Canaccord Genuity's consumer sector focus and work on a broad range of assignments, including public offerings, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions advisory work.  Mr. Rispoli will be primarily responsible for Canaccord Genuity's investment banking efforts focused on the Retail, Apparel & Footwear segments of the consumer industry.

Mr. Rispoli joins Canaccord Genuity from Catalyst Brands LLC, where he was Co-Founder and Managing Partner.  Prior to Catalyst Brands, he served as Group Head of the Investment Banking Retail Group at Barclays Capital and spent 16 years at Lehman Brothers primarily in the Consumer & Retail Group. Mr. Rispoli holds an MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and graduated from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
