Cancer Network Awards Gold for Winners of Medical Diagnostic Game

NORWALK, Conn., Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Medica US and Cancer Network today announced the winners of the "Diagnostic Champions' Challenge" – an online game designed to test the knowledge and medical diagnostic skills of physicians and other healthcare professionals. Dr. Sumit Sawhney of Florida and Alex Browns of Texas have each won an ounce of gold bullion by placing first in the final round of the five-week challenge.

During the interactive challenge, players were tasked with answering multiple choice questions based on diagnosing and assessing different types of cancer – culminating with the top physician and non-physician players from the first four weeks competing in the final round.
