NEW YORK, May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading global financial services firm, announced the expansion of its Credit Fixed Income team with key appointments of several seasoned professionals, who are all joining Cantor Fitzgerald from Gleacher & Company. These individuals will focus on High Yield and Investment Grade Sales and Trading, and building out the firm's credit platform. The team will report to Adam Vengrow and David Pichler, co-heads of the Credit Fixed Income Group, and are based in New York.

The new members of Cantor's Credit team include:
High Yield:
Riaz Haidri joins Cantor as the Head of High Yield, covering high yield, distressed and bank loans. Previously, Mr. Haidri served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of High Yield Trading at Gleacher & Company. Before joining Gleacher, Mr. Haidri was a Managing Director at BNY Capital Markets and worked in the high yield group at NatWest Securities.
Greg Sullivan will focus on leveraged finance sales at Cantor. Most recently, Mr. Sullivan served as a Managing Director and Head of High Yield at Gleacher & Company. Earlier, he held senior level positions at Raymond James and the Bank of New York.
Jim Gorman will focus on leveraged finance sales at Cantor. Previously he served as a Managing Director at Gleacher & Company, covering high yield and distressed sales for institutional clients and has held senior positions at Miller Tabek Roberts Securities, LLC, Barclays and Salomon Brothers.
Jeff Warren will also focus on leveraged finance sales for the High Yield Group. Most recently, Mr. Warren served as a Managing Director in the Credit Products Division at Gleacher & Company, and has held senior sales positions at Goldman Sachs & Company and J.P. Morgan Securities.
Todd Sycoff will focus on High Yield Trading. Mr. Sycoff previously served as a Managing Director at Gleacher & Company, specializing in all aspects of trading High Yield securities. Before joining Gleacher, he held senior positions at BTIG, Bear Stearns Asset Management, and Merrill Lynch.
Investment Grade:
Jeff Gibbons will manage Investment Grade Sales at Cantor. Mr. Gibbons previously served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Investment Grade Credit at Gleacher & Company. Prior to joining Gleacher, he was the Head of Investment Grade Sales at Citadel Securities, and managed Investment Grade Sales at Citigroup.
Marina Desyak will focus on credit sales at Cantor. Most recently, Mrs. Desyak was responsible for credit sales at Gleacher & Company and has been a Director at TD Securities.
