CAPE PAC Releases New Video In 'Stop Mr. Obama' Campaign Series

WASHINGTON, Sept. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Coalition of Americans for Political Equality PAC (CAPE PAC) has released a new video titled "Hypocrite" as part of their online campaign, "StopMr.Obama.com." "Our new video focuses on President Obama's failure to lead. Unfortunately, President Obama basks in the spotlight, cozies up to celebrities, and puts campaigning, vacationing and golf before the national priorities of fixing our economy and getting Americans back to work," said CAPE PAC's Chairman Jeff Loyd.

The 60-second video represents a sample of President Obama's numerous late night television comedy appearances, golfing and other vacations, and campaign stints and photo ops with Hollywood glitterati. "We are asking voters to step back and take a good look at the priorities of their current president. Is this the type of leadership you want for your country for the next four years?" asked Loyd.

"We need a federal budget that balances, job creation, and an energy policy. We need a stable and strong foreign policy. We need to shrink government and let the markets fix themselves. This video reminds voters that Pres. Obama is more focused on fame -- he is a celebrity instead of a serious leader. This is a subject that we believe is very important for voters to consider when voting for President.  We need a strong conservative leader making decisions for a better America, not a celebrity jetting on the taxpayers' dime," Loyd said. 

CAPE PAC launched a newly-designed website site for StopMrObama.com last week as part of heightened strategy to defeat the incumbent president. The new homepage calls on voters to pledge to reject Obama's re-election and displays each week's latest video. The new site also has a content-rich section called "Reasons to Pledge Your Vote" that includes 30 articles specific to Obama's policy and leadership failures. CAPE PAC has also been promoting the hashtag #StopMrObama.

CAPE PAC will continue to release weekly Stop Mr. Obama videos until November 6, 2012. The organization is purchasing national TV and conducting ongoing search efforts. CAPE PAC has also reached out to supporters with the new advertisement and to encourage them to spread the message virally.   

CAPE PAC also will focus on get-out-the-vote for Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney and Republican Vice-Presidential Nominee Paul Ryan, and other Republican candidates down the ballot in November.
