LUBBOCK, Texas, Sept. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Capital Certified Development Corporation was honored as the "2013 Top CDC/504 Volume Lender" in the Lubbock SBA District. Capital CDC's Executive Director, Thomas Braasch, and West Texas Business Development Officer, Jason Bigham, accepted the award at the recent Mid-America Lenders Conference in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The awards breakfast was held August 21, 2013 and honored the top SBA 504 and 7(a) Lenders in Region VI. This is Capital CDC's 2nd consecutive year to receive this honor, which is determined by lending activity from July through June.
A resident of Lubbock, Jason Bigham has served as Capital CDC's West Texas Business Development Officer since March of 2010. During his tenure, Jason has originated 41 loans in participation with local lenders in all parts of the territory.
"It's a real honor to be recognized for this award again this year," says Jason. "We're especially grateful to our lending partners and our small business customers for making it possible." Capital CDC's goal in West Texas has been to expand access to the 504 program among lenders and small businesses in the area, while delivering best-in-class service throughout the loan process. Jason feels they have been successful. "We've been privileged to assist small businesses all over West Texas – from larger cities like Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland, Odessa, and Abilene – to smaller communities like Big Spring, Hereford, Levelland, and Plainview. Since 2010 we've partnered with local banks to help these businesses use the SBA's 504 program to start up, expand, and create hundreds of jobs throughout our region. We're grateful for the trust we've been given and we look forward to serving West Texas for years to come."
