Steven McGinnis, Previous Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Joins CFI

(CFI), is proud to announce the addition of Steven McGinnis to its team of securities industry experts supporting arbitration cases. McGinnis brings more than 40 years of applicable expertise in law, investment compliance, management, and consulting to CFI.
McGinnis began his career as a finance attorney for the Securities and Exchange Commission and moved to Consolidated Capital Companies as corporate general counsel and senior vice-president. McGinnis held executive positions as a chief legal and compliance officer at Loring Ward International, LWI Financial, SA Funds Investment Trust, and National Planning Holdings. He was also previously the president and chief executive officer for Titan Value Equities Group. McGinnis has experience practicing private law as well as a compliance litigation consultant and expert witness.

He was formally active on numerous financial industry regulatory committees, including chairman for two of them, National Advisory Council and District Two Business Conduct. He has been a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator since 2004.
