Care.com Teams Up with uberFAMILY to Support Philadelphia and D.C. Families Care.com to Provide Surcharge-Free Rides for Parents
WALTHAM, Mass., July 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Care.com (NYSE: CRCM), the world's largest online destination for finding and managing family care, is once again teaming up with Uber to help families make easier transportation decisions. From July 14-20, 2014, Care.com will offer surcharge-free rides for parents in Philadelphia and D.C. through uberFAMILY, a new service that allows families to request a car equipped with a car seat.

As the exclusive transportation sponsor of uberFAMILY, Care.com will cover the $10 surcharge per ride and the first five hundred families in Philadelphia and D.C. to take advantage of uberFAMILY will also receive care packages in each car. All riders will obtain a 20% discount off a Care.com premium membership to find quality full-time and part-time babysitters, nannies and other caregivers for their family.
