Carefree Communities, the Nation's Fifth Largest Manufactured Home and RV Community Owner, Acquires Central Park MH and RV Communities in Florida
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Carefree Communities, Inc., owner and operator of over 100 manufactured home communities and RV resorts is further expanding its presence in the Florida market with the acquisition of Central Park, a Polk County manufactured home and RV community in Haines City, Florida. This acquisition is the 40th for Carefree Communities, Inc. in the last 24 months.
The Central Park communities were acquired by Carefree on April 23. "The two communities were the perfect addition to Carefree's rapidly growing portfolio of MH and RV communities," said Bennett Kim, Carefree's Head of Acquisitions. "Our growth goals are very aggressive right now, and we are always looking for communities that fit with Carefree's strategic plan. We are pleased to have both Central Park communities as part of the Carefree family."
The 36 acre Central Park communities are located 90 miles from Tampa and Orlando. Central Park RV has 368 sites, and the 55+ age restricted manufactured home community contains 110 home sites. Both properties feature clubhouses, heated swimming pools, and laundry and bath facilities. They also both offer a lively social activities calendar, which is a priority within Carefree's portfolio of manufactured home communities and RV communities.
