Carl Barney to Work with Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism

Barney joins a number of other distinguished businessmen who serve on the board, including John Allison, former chairman and CEO of BB&T Corporation; Yaron Brook, president and executive director of the Ayn Rand Institute; and William Lowndes III, CEO of the Tindall Corporation.
The Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism, founded by Clemson University, seeks to examine and to increase public awareness of the moral foundations of capitalism. It provides a forum for investigating topics such as individual rights, private property, the rule of law and free trade.
Barney has served as chairman of the board of CollegeAmerica Services, Inc. since 1992.
