Carlson Arts LLC Re-Launches Company Providing Custom Fabrication Services for Artists, Architects and Other Design Professionals

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Carlson Arts LLC announced today that it has created a new partnership between Peter M. Carlson and John H. Baker , formerly of Carlson & Co., dedicated to providing the arts community with the highest level of design, engineering and fabrication services.  Collectively, they have over 50 years of experience in the execution of fine art and architectural projects worldwide.

Utilizing key personnel from Carlson & Co. and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, they are able to provide cost effective solutions to complex projects.  Along with offices and a 20,000 square foot fabrication facility in Sun Valley, California, they have teamed with TransFX in Oxnard, California to expand their capabilities, while streamlining the management structure.  In house capabilities include design development, 3D scanning and modeling, CNC milling (3 & 5 axis) water-jet cutting, machining, rolling, assembly and paint finishing.

Developing personal relationships with a unique ability to understand each client's vision has made them the preferred fabricator since 1970.  Their direct involvement in the project ensures that Carlson Arts client's expectations in terms of quality, schedule, and budget are met.
