Carnegie Council Launches New Program Year with Talk by Tom Friedman and Michael Mandelbaum
NEW YORK, Aug. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is pleased to announce the start of its 2011-2012 program year. Carnegie Council programs provide a nonpartisan forum for discussions that go beyond the headlines to explore the ethical dimensions of international issues.
The year kicks off with a talk by Tom Friedman and Michael Mandelbaum on their recent book, entitled "That Used to Be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World It Invented and How We Can Come Back."
