Casio + Danica McKellar = A Winning Equation

DOVER, N.J., April 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Casio America, Inc. announced today it is partnering with TV star, New York Times bestselling author and internationally-recognized mathematician Danica McKellar in support of the company's PRIZM calculator.  As part of the agreement, McKellar – best known for her role as Winnie Cooper on the TV show "The Wonder Years" - will be featured in a photo and video shoot for the PRIZM calculator along with providing content for use through various social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.

She has authored three The New York Times bestselling books on the topic of mathematics. Her first book, titled "Math Doesn't Suck: How to Survive Middle-School Math without Losing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail," encourages middle school-aged girls to enjoy and succeed at mathematics.  Additional books include "Kiss My Math: Showing Pre-Algebra Who's Boss" and "Hot X: Algebra Exposed!" which are both aimed at girls and helping them to learn pre-algebra and algebra with confidence.
