WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., March 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Semiconductor intellectual property (IP) providers CAST, Inc. and Trilinear Technologies, Inc. have signed a partnership agreement by which imaging and video IP products developed by Trilinear will also be available through CAST.

The new partnership enables CAST to offer a broader, highly competitive suite of video and image processing IP, building on the H.264 and JPEG 2000 encoders, JPEG cores, and other IP the company already offers. The new CAST products sourced from Trilinear will include video and image decoders, image scalers, a video deinterlacer, graphics controllers, various development platforms, and more. CAST expects to begin offering these products next month.
