WAYNE, N.J., Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The grand prize winner of the Castrol® Triumph sweepstakes Anthony Fields of Decatur, GA will claim his prize, a 2013 Triumph Street Triple motorcycle, on Saturday, September 21. The presentation will be conducted in conjunction with "Bike Day" at the 5380 Covington Highway Pep Boys store.
Fields won the motorcycle by entering a national Castrol sweepstakes held at Pep Boys stores from June 2 to July 6. A motorcycle enthusiast, he currently owns two ATVs and two motorcycles, including a Triumph Daytona.
To appeal to consumers' distinctive riding personalities, Castrol and Triumph decided to offer the sweepstakes winner their choice of three different styles of bikes including: the Street Triple, a roadster; the Daytona, a sport bike; and the Thruxton, a classic style cafe racer. As a result, more than 16,000 motorcycle enthusiasts entered for the chance to win.
"I entered the contest at a Pep Boys store by coincidence; I always use Castrol, so when I saw the sweepstakes display, I figured I would give it a shot," said Fields, who is an avid motorcycle rider and has been using Castrol products since he first began driving. "When I found out I won, it felt like a dream in a way. I've never even played the lottery, so I really took a chance entering the sweepstakes. It's a huge deal to me that I actually won!"
Castrol and Triumph will officially present the Triumph Street Triple AVR at a ceremony during "Bike Day" on September 21, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Pep Boys will have special offers for customers and some give-a-ways for attendees. In addition, bikes will be on display, courtesy of the local Triumph dealer, Freedom Powersports, and customers will be offered specials on motorcycle products and promotional merchandise.
