Caterpillar Announces Date of Annual Meeting of Stockholders

PEORIA, Ill., March 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) will conduct its 2012 annual meeting of stockholders on Wednesday, June 13, at 8 a.m. Central Daylight Time in San Antonio, Texas. Meeting details, agenda and the procedure for admission will be included in the company's 2012 annual meeting proxy statement. The proxy statement is expected to be distributed or made available no later than the first week in May to stockholders of record as of April 16, 2012.
