The newly announced Quantenna True 8x8™ QSR10G Wi-Fi platform paired with Cavium's leading OCTEON^® III CN71XX high performance, low power quad-core processors will address the capacity, reliability, thermal and security challenges in next generation Wi-Fi access points, routers and gateways.

Wi-Fi has now become a ubiquitous utility in home, work and public venues. Social media, online video and home entertainment are driving bandwidth-demanding applications such as real-time video sharing and 4K video streaming. The need for high capacity, flexible and scalable Wi-Fi is greater than ever. With up-to 12 streams and MU-MIMO support, the Quantenna 10G Wave 3 Wi-Fi platform is able to support more clients and more capacity. The 10G-capable CN7130 processor compliments the Quantenna 10G Wave 3 Wi-Fi by providing the ability to process and securely transport data for up to hundreds of users while providing  QoS and deep packet inspection (DPI) in a low cost, low power envelope.
