CCB Adds New Vice President of Business Development to Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina Team

SOUTH HILL, Va., May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Citizens Community Bank announces the addition of Steven M. Cobb as Vice President of Business Development for the North Carolina region, based out of the Roanoke Rapids branch.

Cobb is well-known in the Roanoke Rapids area and joined Citizens Community Bank in April.  His former position as a Regional Market Manager for Bank of the James, coupled with previous banking/finance experience at RBC Centura, First Carolina State Bank, The Heritage Bank, and BB&T, provide an excellent foundation for his new position.  He graduated from Halifax Academy in 1978 and is a 1982 graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where he earned an undergraduate degree Administration of Criminal Justice.  Cobb touts a wide range of civic and community involvement designations, and is a resident of Tarboro, where he lives with his wife, Franki.  They are proud parents to their adult daughter, Stephanie. He is the son of long-time Roanoke Rapids resident, Joyce P. Cobb , and the late A. Gene Cobb .
