The courses, encompassing a wide range of investment, financial, and market analysis concepts for commercial real estate, are offered in traditional classroom, online instructor-led, and online self-paced formats. CCIM Institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation, commercial real estate's global standard for professional achievement.

Commercial Investment 101 introduces CCIM's cash flow model and demonstrates how to apply it to investment decisions. Concepts explored include internal rate of return, net present value, capitalization rates, capital accumulation, and the annual growth rate of capital. Students learn to apply CCIM's strategic analysis and decision-making models.
Commercial Investment 102 demonstrates how to apply CCIM's strategic analysis model for investors, lenders, developers, brokers, and other real estate professionals. Students learn how to conduct financial and market analyses through office, industrial, multifamily, and retail case studies.
Commercial Investment 103 incorporates CCIM's decision-making model into case studies and demonstrates applications of CCIM's communications/negotiations model to real estate decisions. Students approach cases from the user/occupant perspective and use market and financial analyses to evaluate user space decisions and occupancy cost models for ownership and leasing.
Commercial Investment 104 applies CCIM investment analysis models to examine investor and user decisions via case study analyses. Students evaluate acquisition, financing, disposition alternatives, and more. The course integrates CCIM's communications/negotiations model and examines strategies for evaluating and mitigating risk associated with real estate investment.
Students must also complete CCIM's Online Ethics and Preparing to Negotiate courses, meet experiential requirements, and complete a comprehensive examination to earn the CCIM designation.
