CDI To Provide Facilities Standardization Specifications for Access Midstream's Natural Gas Compressor Stations
PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CDI Corp. (NYSE:CDI) today announced that it has been awarded a contract with Access Midstream Partners (formerly Chesapeake Midstream Development) to develop a comprehensive set of facility specifications that will allow Access to further standardize and optimize the design and construction of natural gas compressor stations in Louisiana, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, West Virginia and Wyoming.
CDI's engineers will create a comprehensive standardization package to enable Access's project engineering team to minimize the engineering required for each compressor facility, shorten construction time, further ensure consistent project quality and safety, reduce materials costs and improve inventory processes.
