CEC Entertainment, Inc. Appoints Temple Weiss as Chief Financial Officer
IRVING, Texas, Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CEC Entertainment, Inc. ("CEC" or the "Company"), which operates 577 Chuck E. Cheese's stores, today announced that its Board of Directors appointed Temple Weiss as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 29, 2014.
The Company's announcement follows a search process conducted by the Board of Directors to identify a CFO, which included a review of both internal and external candidates. In his role as CFO, Temple, together with CEC's Chief Executive Officer Tom Leverton, will lead strategic initiatives across the Company and manage all financial aspects of the business.
Temple brings nearly two decades of hospitality experience to the executive leadership team. He recently served as CFO at Pegasus Solutions, a leading hospitality company that provides technology and services to hotels and travel distributors. Prior to Pegasus Solutions, Temple served as the CFO of ACE Cash Express and as CFO of LQ Management, a private equity portfolio company managing and franchising La Quinta hotels. In 2008, Temple was named as one of Dallas Business Journal's "40 Under 40" and as "CFO of the Year for Large Private Companies" in 2010.
