CECO Environmental Announces Change to a Virtual Annual Meeting Format for 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders

DALLAS, May 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- CECO Environmental Corp. (Nasdaq: CECE) announced today a change in the format of its Annual Meeting of Stockholders ("Annual Meeting") from in-person to virtual-only. Due to the public health impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and to support the health and well-being of our stockholders, employees, and their families, the Company will hold its Annual Meeting in a virtual meeting format only, via webcast.  As previously announced, the Annual Meeting will be held on June 11, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time. 

As described in the proxy materials for the Annual Meeting, stockholders are entitled to participate in the Annual Meeting if they were a stockholder as of the close of business on April 15, 2020, the record date, or hold a legal proxy for the meeting provided by their bank, broker, or other nominee.  Stockholders can participate in the Annual Meeting at www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/CECE2020 by entering their 16-digit control number found on the proxy card, voting instruction form, or notice that was previously received.

Stockholders can continue to vote in advance of the Annual Meeting.  Voting of shares can be completed in advance via the toll-free number, by visiting the internet site provided in the proxy materials or by mailing in a signed and dated proxy card.  Stockholders may vote during the Annual Meeting by following the instructions available on the meeting website during the Annual Meeting. 

Whether or not a stockholder plans to attend the Annual Meeting, we urge all stockholders to vote and submit their proxy in advance of the Annual Meeting by one of the methods described in the proxy materials.  Stockholders will not receive a new proxy card reflecting the change to a virtual meeting.  The proxy card or voting instruction form included with the proxy materials may continue to be used to vote shares in connection with the Annual Meeting.

A list of stockholders entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting will be available during the Annual Meeting for inspection by stockholders for any legally valid purpose related to the Annual Meeting at www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/CECE2020 using your 16-digit control number.  To view the list for such purposes during the 10 days prior to the Annual Meeting, please contact [email protected].
