LONDON, March 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Center Parcs, the UK's leading destination for short breaks is putting on a range of activities, games and events all day (9am-9pm) everyday during Easter Week (2nd-8th April) this year for guests on a Center Parcs break. These special Easter celebrations are designed to appeal to families, couples and those who simply wish to take a short trip and escape their normal lives for a week. Events are being held at all four UK villages, located in the forests of Elveden, Longleat, Sherwood and Whinfell.
Center Parcs have designed and organised a host of exciting and original activities and events to meet the rising demand for UK Easter breaks. These include:
- A varied selection of arts and crafts including many Easter time classics such as chocolate egg painting and egg cup decorating. For less traditional fun, you can indulge in glass painting, fancy dress designing, creating money boxes at the Craft Workshop or perhaps a spot of pottery at Easter Ceramics.
- A range of games and physical activities especially for children. Egg hunts, party games and treasure trails are being held at all four villages, as are discos and Easter themed tea parties.
- All villages are also offering a host of exclusive activities. These include a horse and carriage ride around the forest, quiz evenings, visiting 'Pop the barn owl' and his chicks, stage and close-up magic and much, much more.
- Food and drink options have been upgraded for Easter week. The various banquets being held range from Easter carveries to jazz-themed lunches, from woodland banquets to children's bunny-themed tea parties.
- Not wanting to neglect bigger kids, shows, discos and parties are being thrown, including performances by Queen and Take That tribute acts. A luxurious spa experience is being offered for £30; a chance to spend a sensual afternoon discovering the widest choice of globally inspired spa experiences in the UK.
See our special Easter holiday offers for midweek (Mon-Fri) and weekend breaks (Fri-Mon). Prices vary according to length of stay, number of people as well as location and type of accommodation.
