Centerplate Offers Traditional Hawaiian Flavors to the 2014 Pro Bowl
STAMFORD, Conn., Jan. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the hospitality partner to Aloha Stadium and more than 300 premier entertainment venues across North America and the United Kingdom, is in the final days of preparation for the Pro Bowl, the NFL's All-Star Game.
This year, the company is proud to provide the catering for more than 50,000 fans and guests during the 2014 Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii. This Pro Bowl marks Centerplate's 12th time hosting the event and the company is honored to serve as hospitality partner to ten NFL clubs. Centerplate has also been proud to serve 13 Super Bowls including last year's Super Bowl XLVII at New Orleans's Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
For the many out-of-state fans, Centerplate's team has been working to create authentic and unique flavors of Hawaii. To serve these important guests, Centerplate has developed a number of menu concepts specifically tailored to the game and has added numerous supplementary points-of-service to ensure visitors will be served a wide variety of flavorful meals and snacks without sacrificing service speed.

- Kalbi plate -- Barbeque short rib served with steamed white rice and noodle salad

- Hawaiian Shaved Ice -- A true fan favorite! Hawaiian dessert treat of light and fluffy ice with flavored syrup including Pineapple, Lychee, Coconut, Vanilla (blue in color), Lilikoi passion fruit, and of course, rainbow, among others. Mixing flavors is encouraged.
