Centura Health and Children's Hospital Colorado Form Care Alliance
The shared goal: Deliver highest level of pediatric care close to home
CENTENNIAL and AURORA, Colo., Feb. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Centura Health, the region's health care leader, and Children's Hospital Colorado (Children's Colorado), one of the nation's top 10 children's hospitals, today announced they have formed a care alliance to provide children and their families with the highest level of coordinated medical care as close to home as possible. Further, this alliance will streamline the coordination of care between the two organizations to ensure the right care at the right time at the right location.

As part of this care alliance, Centura Health and Children's Colorado have identified immediate opportunities for collaborating to provide pediatric expertise, to share clinical guidelines and protocols, and to offer educational programs for nurses and physicians. Moving forward, we will continue to work together to identify region-by-region what additional services are needed.
Additional details will become available as the care alliance finds new ways for Centura Health and Children's Colorado to jointly improve the value of pediatric care delivered to our communities.
The care alliance extends across Colorado and western Kansas. However, due to an existing agreement, the alliance does not include Centura Health's Penrose Hospital or St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs.
