Century Communities Acquires Land for New Neighborhoods in Skye Canyon and Southwest Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Century Communities, named fastest-growing public builder by Builder magazine, announced it has purchased three additional land parcels with 269 lots from the developer of Skye Canyon in Northwest Las Vegas. In addition, the company also recently closed on 154 lots in Southwest Las Vegas, located near Blue Diamond Rd. and Ft. Apache Rd.

The new parcels in Skye Canyon, a 1,700-acre master-planned community, will become three separate gated neighborhoods. The first community, Aspen, slated to open models in early 2019, will feature a popular series of two-story homes currently being sold at Century Communities' Whisper Peak inside Skye Canyon. The second community will be a stunning all single-story neighborhood and the third will feature newly-designed two-story homes. Models at these two communities are planned to open in the summer of 2019. These neighborhoods will be the third, fourth, and fifth for Century Communities at Skye Canyon. Alpine Crossings by Century Communities sold out in May, while homes in Whisper Peak are still available.

In Southwest Las Vegas, Century Communities plans to offer four distinct two-story floorplans ranging from 1,700 to 2,600 square feet, with models opening in early 2019. The community is just a short drive to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, known for its towering red sandstone peaks and Native American petroglyphs.
