The CFP Board Career Center is an initiative of the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning. The innovative cloud-based platform being utilized for the Career Fair will connect individuals directly with financial services organizations seeking new talent through one-on-one text-based and video chats. The event is free to job seekers, and employers are invited to participate for a fee. Those interested in signing up can visit www.CFP.net/CareerFair.
The CFP Board Career Center is a one-stop shop for both employers and job seekers. It contains job and internship listings, and useful career management content for financial advisors, providing helpful information and job opportunities to CFP® professionals and hopefuls at every stage of their career. The Career Center was launched in 2015 with Fidelity Institutional as the founding sponsor.
"The Career Fair is a unique opportunity for both job seekers and employers," said Dr. Lisa Andrews, CFP Board Career Center Manager. "Firms can avoid the time and costs of traveling to an in-person career fair and recruit right from their desk, while those who are looking for a job in the financial services industry will have real-time access to firms right at their fingertips."
