The company says that, at America's airlines, hotels and amusement parks alone, 1,320,890 items with an average total value of $151,415,300 will be lost between July 3rd and July 10th, 2016. Of these, 17.6% will be electronic devices such as cell phones, laptop computers, keys with electronic fobs, and cameras, with an estimated total value of $69,798,102. This statistic is being released in light of AAA's recent statistic, which states the "highest fourth of July travel volume on record" where "nearly 43 million Americans will travel" over Independence Day Weekend.
