Part of the Crooked Road Heritage Music Trail and located at milepost 171.5 on Virginia's Blue Ridge Parkway, Chateau Morrisette hosts music, dining, and other special events, including daily wine tastings, amidst spectacular mountain views.

October Autumn Lunches and Sunday Sounds
However you celebrate the changing seasons, top it off with a delicious lunch at Chateau Morrisette. During October, the restaurant at Chateau Morrisette is open for lunch: Monday – Thursday, 11 AM to 2 PM; Friday – Saturday, 11 AM to 9 PM; and Sunday 11 AM to 3 PM. Reservations are recommended.
Bring the family Sunday afternoons (1 PM to 4 PM) through October for free live music in the courtyard. Sandwiches, snacks, drinks, including wine, are available for purchase, or bring your own picnic.

Black Dog Beach Music Festival, Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 11AM - 5PM
At our 5th annual Beach Music Festival, shagging and other dance fans can enjoy great music, sip our wines, and sample great food.
Headlining this year's festival are Gold record recording artists The Tams (from 2 PM to 5 PM), featuring original member Charles Pope. The Tams are well-known for hits "Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy" and "What Kind of Fool." With memorable vocals and a wide ranging repertoire, openers the North Tower Band (from 11 AM to 1 PM) are sure to please.
Open Air Shakespeare Features "Hamlet", October 13, 2013, Begins at 4 PM
Enjoy Open Air Shakespeare, the New River Valley's outdoor theater troupe, as they perform "Hamlet." Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for students/senior citizens, and payable at the gate.

Chateau Morrisette transforms into the haunted "Mouldering Pines Inn" where the President of the "Boogeyman Outreach Organization" (BOO) along with a host of whacky characters present an entertaining, laugh-out-loud show. Guests enjoy a four-course meal with a special wine selected for each course.
This year's "PolterHeist" opens at 7 PM on Friday November 1st, with encore presentations at 6 PM on Saturday November 2nd and, again, at 6 PM on Saturday, November 9th. Tickets are $90 per person.
