Chef Ted Allen and BUITONI® Cook Up a Delicious Date Night-In! BUITONI Sweepstakes Offers Chance to Win Exclusive Cooking Experience with Celebrity Chef
SOLON, Ohio, Feb. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Valentine's Day is synonymous with romance, fine dining, wine and the one you love. But do you really need to leave the house on Valentine's night – or any Date Night – to enjoy a perfect evening together? Buitoni®, the maker of refrigerated pastas and sauces, invites everyone to be inspired and re-think Date Night by entering the BUITONI Date Night-In Sweepstakes now at www.facebook.com/BuitoniUSA.
By simply selecting and submitting a shareable Buitoni recipe e-card by March 3, consumers will be eligible for a chance to win a personal cooking demonstration with Chef Ted Allen, host of Food Network's "Chopped."
"Date Night should be a time for couples to re-connect, but it can be challenging to do that in a crowded restaurant or movie theatre," says Allen, who will offer the BUITONI sweepstakes Grand Prize winner tips for creating a special Date Night-In with BUITONI pastas and sauces. "I've always thought that cooking with or for someone is one of the most sincere – but simple – gestures to show you care."
To enter the sweepstakes, consumers must visit facebook.com/BuitoniUSA by March 3 and follow the directions to submit their entry. They will be required to select a BUITONI recipe from those featured. Next, as an optional activity, consumers will be prompted to upload a photo and provide a description, in 150 characters or less, of their ideal date night (it won't affect their entry's chances of winning for consumers who choose not to do this). Then they will be able to preview the e-card they have created. Consumers will be prompted to enter the Sweepstakes, including providing registration information. Finally they may submit their e-card. Upon first submission of an e-card, they will be provided an option that will allow them to print a coupon.
Ten First Place winners will receive coupons for free BUITONI pastas and sauces and a $25 gift card to Wine.com. One Grand Prize winner will also receive a cooking demonstration at home for two with Ted Allen. For more information, see the Official Rules at facebook.com/BuitoniUSA. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 or older. Void where prohibited. Sponsored by Nestle USA, Solon, Ohio 44139.
