CHICAGO, April 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On April 7 at 3:45 p.m., A six car derailment occurred on Chicago Rail Link in the South Chicago Interchange Yard. Four of the cars were tank cars loaded with an alcohol-derivative but there were no leaks or spillage and no injuries. The cars are all back on the track and service will be restored today. Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident was caused by a bad wheel on a boxcar.
