Excellent Opportunity for Lawyers to help DC's Neediest Kids
WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Children's Law Center announced this week the launch of its new Lawyers for Children Campaign. The six-week campaign is designed to expose associates, counsel and other colleagues to opportunities to improve the lives of the District's children.
In conjunction with the campaign, CLC's announces an 18-member Advisory Board representing attorneys from law firms, law schools and corporations across the District. Advisory Board members act as CLC ambassadors within their organizations to encourage their colleagues to support the campaign.
Advisory Board members represent legal organizations in the District of Columbia committed to public service, including Arnold & Porter, Blank Rome, Bryan Cave, Clifford Chance, Covington & Burling, Crowell & Moring, Fish & Richardson, Hunton & Williams, Jones Day, Latham & Watkins, McDermott Will & Emery, McKenna Long & Aldridge, Patton Boggs, Sidley Austin, Skadden, Williams & Connolly, American University and the Podesta Group.

The campaign will run from October 18 through Thanksgiving. During that time participants will learn about the work of Children's Law Center and form new friendships with fellow supporters.
